You brought us into this world,
And opened up our eyes;
Prepared us for the future,
To face the lows and highs.
You brought sunshine to our lives,
And music to our ears;
Happiness and good advice,
You drove away the fears.
You brought joy to everyone,
You met along the way;
Giving love and tenderness,
With every passing day.
You brought moments to us all,
Memories we will keep;
The smiles and all the loving,
Will live within us deep.
But now it's time to say goodbye,
Not pine away for you;
Smile and look to the future,
As you would want us to.
So thanks for being our father,
Thank you for being you;
Thanks for all you've given us,
Thanks Dad, we'll always love you.

I’m crying deep inside,
Because you’ve passed away,
The pain keeps on growing,
It hurts more with each day,
Eased by the special things,
We shared along the way.
Time we spent together,
When I was late at night,
Small talk passed between us,
Till early morning light,
Love and understanding,
Whenever they were right.
Sharing all my secrets,
All my hopes and fears,
Always there beside me,
To dry away the tears,
Always there to listen,
Throughout the growing years.
Love and tender moments,
The beauty in your eyes,
The beauty deep inside,
That no-
That warm loving feeling,
Even at our goodbyes.
So words cannot express,
This love I feel for you,
It will stay forever,
Whatever I may do,
It’s part of who I am,
And all because of you.
So thanks Eliza May,
For all you gave to me,
Everything about you,
Fixed in my memory,

No malice lived inside you,
Just love and kindness too;
No words ever left your lips,
To spoil our pride in you;
No thoughts were ever spoken,
That didn’t do you proud;
The love and all the comfort,
Were there for all around.
The joy of being with you,
Was plain for all to see;
The warmth you radiated,
When in your company;
The tenderness and loving,
The joy in you we shared;
Just being in your presence,
Affection never spared.
Your beauty it was priceless,
Your heart was solid gold;
The love unconditional,
A memory to hold;
You gave us understanding,
And showed us how to care;
Everything that we all are,
Is from you being there.
So now we know it’s over,
It’s time for you to go;
Glad we never missed a chance,
To say we loved you so,
So no regrets about you,
The love we shared was true;
A lovely perfect mum,
Was all we ever knew.
